pregnancy test

NURSING DIVISION
HOCKING COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

PREGNANCY TESTING

Pregnancy testing is done from 8-4, M-F, by a registered nurse.  You must be at least 2 weeks late with your period before a test will be done; this ensures an accurate result.

Pregnancy testing is free to Hocking County residents.
(The cost is $10 if you do not live in Hocking County).

Referrals to local resources such as WIC, Healthy Start, Help Me Grow, etc. are provided during the visit.  Educational materials for positive and negative pregnancy test clients will be reviewed during the visit.  A “proof of pregnancy” will be given to positive test clients to enable them in their WIC and Healthy Start application process.

Please call 740-385-3030 ext. 257 to schedule a test.
